Inkberrow Parish Neighbourhood Plan Update
The Inkberrow Parish Neighbourhood Planning process is progressing and following the very positive response to the Neighbourhood Plan Parish Survey we are now ready to move to the next stage, beginning to develop “The Plan” and we need Your Help
As stated when we launched the Neighbourhood Plan process and invited volunteers to come forward, a crucial part in the process is involvement of and consultation with the wider parish communities. An essential part of this is to tap into the talent, skills, knowledge and expertise of our parish residents to help with developing and documenting the strategic aims, objectives and proposals that will form the basis of the Inkberrow Parish Neighbourhood Plan.

Inkberrow Parish Neighbourhood Plan – Survey Results Update:
Your Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the residents who took time to complete and return the Neighbourhood Plan Survey 2019.
We appreciate it was quite a detailed document so are pleased to note that questionnaires were issued to all 989 households in the parish and we received 648 responses (615 paper/33 online).
The responses have been collated and analysed by the “Performance, Consultation & Insight Unit” at Stratford-on-Avon District Council, and we are pleased to confirm that we are now able to share a summary of the initial results with all residents. A copy of the final report summary may be viewed below.
For those who are unable to access the internet or who do not wish to view the summary report online, paper copies may be viewed on the Parish Council Notice Board located outside The Village Shop – Inkberrow, or displayed on the notice board inside the Post Office – Pepper St, Inkberrow.
Please note that we are not inviting further engagement from residents at this stage, but there will be opportunities for full consultation once the detailed results have been analysed and relevant updates will be given throughout the consultation process.
We will in due course be looking to involve parish residents, businesses and community groups to help us in considering the information we have gathered and exploring how we can use this to benefit the whole parish in developing our “Inkberrow Parish Development Plan” for the future.

Local people can now have a major say in helping to shape development in the areas in which they live. Neighbourhood Plans in the District of Wychavon can only be prepared by the Parish Council.
Neighbourhood Plans allow a partnership of neighbourhoods, including businesses, residents, and interested parties to develop policies that, subject to an independent examination and community referendum, will become part of the planning framework for land uses in their local area. This means that areas themselves have more control over development in their locality.
It is very important that all Parish residents aged 16 and over have their say, it is your opportunity to contribute to the future development of your village.
The plan begins with the residents survey.
Paper plans have been circulated, but surveys can also be completed on line at https://www.snapsurveys.com/wh/s.asp?k=155558998609
Additional paper copies of the survey form can also be downloaded from this link.

Having a Neighbourhood Development Plan agreed with Wychavon District Council is very important for the future of Inkberrow Parish. The input of Parish residents forms an integral part of the process. If as residents of the Parish we don’t say what we want for the future of our villages then we will get what the Planners give us!
