Inkberrow Football Club was established in 1978 and plays on the eastern edge of the village providing an opportunity to play and watch football for local people.
The Inkberrow Eagles junior football club was formed in the summer of 2000 with the aim of providing the children of Inkberrow and surrounding area, irrespective of their ability, the opportunity to play football in the village.
The junior club has grown in five years to have a membership of over 100 players, and fields 9 teams in local leagues from Under 8 through to Under 15 level. It has achieved Charter Standard status (a Quality Standard set by the F.A.) and has recently been won both County and the Regional awards for the best Charter Standard club in Worcestershire.
In July 2005 the junior and senior sections combined to provide a single club now providing football for all, irrespective of age, sex or ability.
The merged club provides football at the following levels:-
- U8 – U16 (Various Leagues) – Total Number Of Members 150 (Ambassador Evesham Football League)
- Saturday 1st XI – Worcester & District Football League (1st Division)
- Saturday 2nd XI – Stratford Upon Avon Football Alliance (Division 2)
- Sunday XI – Evesham & District Sunday League Football (Division 1)
The club is currently working closely with the Worcestershire FA to achieve Development Club Status, it is a very progressive, professionally administered organisation with high quality coaches which finds itself constrained from providing further growth and opportunities to local people as a result of poor or inadequate local facilities and its management committee are currently focussed on raising funds and improving the facilities available.
